Natural Spaces Gives Back
Working Toward a Brighter Future

Who We Are
Our Roots
Natural Spaces is a Khayelitsha-based environmental company that transforms water hyacinth, an invasive aquatic plant, into biochar for soil amendment. Their innovative process addresses environmental issues by clearing local waterways of this damaging plant and contributing to sustainable agriculture through biochar production. This carbon-rich substance enhances soil fertility and captures carbon, aiding in the combat against climate change. By transforming a problem into a solution, Natural Spaces showcases how businesses can operate sustainably, positively impacting both the environment and local communities.
